A COLLABORATIVE MENTAL HEALTH PRACTICE
Carolyn Dolejs
LIMHP
I’m a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) who enjoys working with adults navigating the many ups and downs of life. I primarily work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life adjustments, interpersonal conflict, college-related stress, women’s issues, and chronic illness.
Life can be complex, but therapy doesn’t have to be. Sometimes the hardest step is simply reaching out for help. My goal is to create a space where things feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more human. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together to better understand what you’re going through and find practical ways to navigate it. At the end of the day, I’m human first and therapist second, and I believe that genuine connection is an important part of meaningful change.
I primarily use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) modalities during session.
My hope is that you can take what you need from our work together, whether that’s new perspectives, practical tools, or simply a space where you feel heard. It would be a privilege to work with you and learn more about what makes you, you!
