PLMHP

Sometimes we need a gentle ear, and other times we need a firm sounding board. As your therapist, I work hard to meet you where you are currently at in your journey and build a space where you can feel safe to be exactly who you are and know that I will be there every step of the way to help guide you to where you want to go.

Ages 6-12

Is your child struggling with emotional regulation, demonstrating some questionable behaviors, or just needs additional support to process trauma and anxiety? Playing is the best way to help me understand what might be the root cause of your child's current reality. I utilize play therapy to connect with younger age groups to help build resiliency and self-awareness, as well as work on social-skills and appropriate problem-solving. Whether that is through making slime, digging our hands in some sand, or “acting out” various scenarios, I am confident that I can connect with your kiddo. But don’t feel left out- collaboration is key! You will be informed on current goals as well as walk away with some ideas on how to integrate what we’re working on at home and in school!

Ages 13-18

Teenage years are HARD! I keep it down to earth and laid back to connect with your teenager and build a relationship based on mutual respect and curiosity. My approach is, “we will figure this out together” because we all experience our teenage years a little differently! Whether your teen is feeling nervous to go to school because of peer conflict, is a little bit of a perfectionist, has experienced something traumatic, or has just shut down and you don’t know why, I can help! Let’s work together to ensure that your teen has all the tools to feel success no matter where they are at!

18+

Remember when we thought it would be so cool to be an adult? Well nobody tells us how difficult it actually is. Life gives us so many unexpected bumps and surprises, and I am here to help you understand why. Maybe you’re contemplating a major career change, or feeling stuck in your current relationship- sometimes the mental load is just too much and we need a place to unpack it all. Let’s figure out what works best for you to make sure your needs are being met!

I always put the person first, but I specialize in various therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Trauma-Informed Therapy and EMDR. My expertise covers critical areas such as: suicidal ideations, self-harm, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and trauma-related experiences. I am committed to collaborating with you to identify the most effective form of treatment tailored to meet your unique needs! I believe in self-discovery and healing and can’t wait to support you on this journey!
