Sheena Ledford

LIMHP, CST, Ph.D.

There are moments in life when you realize you’ve been holding it all together for everyone else—but somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling connected to yourself.

Maybe you feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected in your relationship, unsure of who you are now, or frustrated by changes in your body, desire, or intimacy that no one prepared you for. Maybe you can explain what’s wrong, or maybe you just know something feels “off.”

I work with individuals and couples navigating the tender, complicated parts of relationships, intimacy, and identity. Many of the clients I support are carrying the invisible weight of emotional labor, struggling with communication and unmet needs, feeling disconnected from themselves or their partner, or trying to navigate changes in desire and intimacy. I’m especially passionate about supporting women through hormonal and reproductive transitions, while also helping men and couples work through desire discrepancies, relational stress, and the challenges of creating deeper understanding and connection within their relationships.

As a therapist with a Ph.D in Clinical Sexology, my work is grounded in the belief that sexual health, emotional well-being, relationships, and identity are deeply connected. I’m especially passionate about supporting women through experiences like postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause, and helping clients better understand how these transitions can impact mental health, intimacy, and sense of self.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply relational. I hope to create an easy place to talk, is calming, insightful, and practical. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up fully—without judgment, pressure, or shame.

Together, we’ll explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck while building greater self-understanding, connection, and emotional clarity.

I provide telehealth (only) therapy for individuals and couples across Nebraska and work with clients of all genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and identities.

You don’t have to have the “right” words before starting therapy. You just have to start somewhere.
