Sheena Ledford
LIMHP
After high school graduation, I set out to pave my own path in the world. This adventure took me to Nebraska, California, and Colorado, before being called back to the mountains of Western North Carolina. While I have lived in many cities across the U.S., I have also had the opportunity to travel many places around the world. These travels have allowed me to meet people from a myriad of cultures, belief systems, and backgrounds, which weaves its way into my therapeutic work.
After obtaining my undergraduate degrees from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I took some time before starting my graduate degree at Western Carolina University. That time allowed me to discover more about who I was, all the while knowing my end goal would be part of the helping profession. North Carolina, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), and in Nebraska I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), that works with those seeking guidance to navigate the ups and downs of life.
I am passionate about working with individuals and couples who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, marital concerns or maintenance, or prenatal/postpartum matters. I seek to provide an empowering and person-centered perspective to therapy, utilizing a multitude of therapeutic tools.
I would love to be a small part of your journey toward meeting your goals and living the life you have always envisioned.
